COURSE INTRODUCTION
WEEK 1 SESSION 1
Esoteric Science or Lifewave Science represents the inner teachings of Lifewave, concerning the Nature of the created universe. This knowledge is not new. Just as the Divinity of Man has been known about down through the ages, and yet only revealed at certain times when a Master is present, so too this knowledge has been held by the various mystery schools but only taught in a complete and accurate form when there are Adepts or Highly Evolved Beings to penetrate it mysteries & teach it from the highest viewpoint.
Reasons for Teaching Esoteric Philosophy:
- Lifewave Science is based on knowledge from higher states of awareness gained through Meditation on the Inner Light and Sound. From these higher states it is apparent that creation rests on certain fundamental laws which operate everywhere and at all times,so our first purpose is to give a clear understanding of these basic laws.
We find that the same laws operate in Man as in the Cosmos at large and so your own nature as a Microcosm or a reflection of the whole created universe is made more clear.
This is one of the things which brings the whole teaching to life because we are all learning about ourselves as well as about the creation. Lifewave science is the study of life itself and since life is everywhere, the field of study is vast and at the same time very close to us. This makes it very exciting.
2. This is not being taught simply to be learned and stored away as academic luggage. You don’t need a shelf full of big books , all with knowledge safely packed away gathering dust. A book contains no knowledge. Knowledge exists in you or nowhere at all.
So it is only of value is when it is used and becomes a part of your life and your way of living. The only value in teaching it is if you apply it in your own life. If we know about the way we and the world are put together, we can apply this to how we live, to our diet, our mental health, how we treat our environment, our relationships and so on.
So don’t be sidetracked into all the interesting little titbits, bear always in mind why you are learning, which is to use the knowledge practically and therefore grow from it.
- Within the mind there are many levels, and how we view the world depends on whether we are polarized more in our lower minds or Higher Mind. Much of what you will learn can only be really grasped by a Higher Mental viewpoint, so the effort to grasp it will help to develop this.
Higher Mind is a more unified and universal state in which we realize the connection between everything and their underlying causes, rather than coming down into the more analytical, fragmentary approach of the Lower Mind.
The Spiritual teaching of Lifewave is concerned with the attainment of expanded states of awareness. These cannot be well reflected through a fragmentory and analytical view of the world so developing Higher Mind is an important complement to spiritual growth.
4. We hope you will gain the confidence to pursue your investigations into the areas that interest you most after the course is over. All these laws ultimately come from you, and make up what you are physically, emotionally and mentally. You dont need to be clever to understand them, in fact cleverness often stands in your way. You will need perseverance and persistence to penetrate your own limits and once the process is underway, it can be continued and really developed. Dont be sheep, be wolves !
