(vi) Astrology of the Six of Disks

1. Decan :  2nd Decan of Taurus ( 11 – 20°)

2. Moon In Taurus

The moon is EXHALTED in Taurus which is a good sign but the moons transient nature means that success may be short lived. The moon like nurturing & comfort and Taurus like material things so they are well suited for bringing material success. The moon thus nurtures the material desires of Taurus

(vii) Symbology of the Six of Disks

The general layout of the card resembles the Golden Dawns Rose Cross at the head of the Pastos, found in the Adeptus Minor Ritual and also the back of the Thoth Card:

In the card itself the energies of Geburah (symbolised by the Red Cross) is integrated Chesed (symbolised by the blue rose) in Tiphareth.

The diagonal rays are associated with the Letter INRI, the formula of Tiphareth and the Sun as shown in the above diagram.

INRI = The acronym INRI (Latin: Iēsus Nazarēnus, Rēx Iūdaeōrum) represents the Latin inscription which in English reads as “Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews”

In its true esoteric sense I.N.R.I., placed upon the Cross represents the names of the four elements in Hebrew: Iam, water; Nour, fire; Ruach, spirit or vital air; and Iabeshah, earth. This is the occult key to the mystery of the crucifixion, for it symbolizes in the first place the Salt, Sulphur, Mercury, and Azoth which were used by the ancient alchemists to make the Philosopher’s Stone, the universal solvent, the elixer-vitae.

Central Rose = has 49 petals (interplay of 7×7).

Planets = Arranged in their usual order of ruling their respective sephiroth(with Kether and Chockmah omitted as things only give birth out of Binah perhaps ) see full diagram below:,

Planets associated with the individual Sephira reveal the qualities we need for success:

(i) Saturn =  success through discipline &  working step by step

(ii) Jupiter = being open and flexible to new opportunities

(iii) Venus =  success through following what is in our heart and what has meaning for us.

(iv) Mercury = success through good communication with self & others

(v) Moon = success through nurturing ourselves and staying true to what we believe in

(vi) Mars = putting energy consistently into the right areas of our life

3 circles in background = the harmony Tiphareth established on earth = harmony and success in our life materially.
