(i) Priest of Midian and The 7 Daughters Introduction

Priest of Midian and The 7 Daughters : This article on the Priest of Midian is based around Bill Donahue’s YouTube video : 7 Daughters & Up We Go

This next paragraph a summary from my previous article:

Moses is in conflict with things internal to himself (as the Hebrews turn against him) as well as external things (Egyptians attacking Hebrews). These were discussed in the last verses of Exodus and so Moses goes out into the wilderness & enters meditation.

We also discussed the 4 elements: earth, water, air, fire which will be expanded upon here and demonstrate the growth of Moses(the spiritual impulse inside us) to develop higher states of consciousness.

At this point id like to emphasise that Jesus was not talked about as being Hebrew in the Bible, but Egyptian and the following verses support this:

(ii) Jesus Egyptian Heritage

Revelation 3: 14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

These things saith the amen = Jesus calls himself ‘the amen’

Amen Ra = the Egyptian Sun God.

Priest of Midian and The 7 Daughters

Matthew 2 :14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:

He = Joseph

Matthew 2: 15. And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

All 3 of the above statements confirm that there is a strong link between Egypt and Jesus.

Moses is now in meditation and comes across The Priest of Midian & the 7 daughters and this refers to Kundalini energy. This wisdom of Christianity came from Egypt which is steeped in metaphysics and spirituality. Egypt in an allegorical sense means out of the mind, so Christ governs everything we perceive.

In the light of this, it is hardly surprising that Christ was far more of a mystic that tradition would have you believe and therefore he would know about the stages of consciousness and the elements which will continue to discuss here.

(iii) Priest of Midian and The 7 Daughters Exodus 2:16 Explained

Exodus 2:16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock.

Midian = ‘strife’ ( ref: WebBible Encycl)

7 daughters = the spiritual energies which overcome the lower aspects us. They open up and overcome the seven seals which are talked about in the book of Revelations. The spiritual process is the overcoming of the lower energies of these chakras so we may be free of the carnal mind and its bondage and rest in the peace that spirit brings.

‘and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock’=

Father = priest, water = truth, flock = sheep = divine thoughts. So the daughters provide great spiritual impulse here. Meditation allows these energies of the 7 daughters to well up inside of us so that we can achieve access to spiritual states of consciousness.

17. And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.

Priest of Midian and The 7 Daughters

This verse describes the duality of man. Shepherds drive the 7 daughters away from bringing truth.

Shepherds watching their flocks = their thoughts & these can be of the lower mind or the higher mind & in this particular verse we have the shepherds representing the LOWER MIND.

So are our shepherds (our attention) watching our sheep up in the mountain (higher thoughts) or in the valleys (carnal thoughts)?

Moses stood up and helped them = Moses (the divine impulse) within us helps to guide us towards spirit by bringing water(truth through meditation) to us.

To sum up this verse, the shepherds (our carnal nature) drives the 7 daughters away (the 7 energies relating to the spiritualisation of the chakras) but as we meditate Moses(our spiritual impulse) grows and helps these 7 energies to do their work on our chakras.

Exodus 2: 18 And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day?

Reuel = (Hebrew: רְעוּאֵל, Modern Re’u’el Tiberian Rəʻûʼēl ; “Friend of El“) meaning “friend of God” or “one who is intimate with God”, is a Hebrew name associated with several Biblical and/or religious figures.(Wikipedia)

2: 19 And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock.

Both Christ and Moses have the wisdom of Egypt as their source.

2 : 20 And he said unto his daughters, And where is he? why is it that ye have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread.

2 : 21 And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.

Moses content to dwell with the man= the divine spirit(Moses) within us is content to dwell with Reuel, the friend of God, a higher aspect of ourselves. Here we are linking in with our spiritual side strongly which results in:

“he gave Moses his daughter Zipporah” = Zipporah means ‘female bird’

The energy from Moses is drawn from the water and now connects with the female bird and this relates to the third stage of consciousness where we meet Christ in the AIR.

Matthew 3: 16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

This again refers to the water and air as spiritual progress & compares to Noah coming out of the ark on the water and releasing a dove.

The process is always Earth – Water – Air . In meditation we are the earth, we are then touched by the water which is the truth & then rise up in consciousness which is the air.

This has nothing to do with bodies levitating as orthodoxy would have us believe:

Exodus 2 : 22 And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.

Gershom = expulsion (ref:BibleStudyTools.com). or being driven away from a place.

This refers to when the mind meets the air (female bird), the lower mind is then expelled and we expand in our consciousness. Once our old fears are expelled then this union of truth and spirit will work within us.

This is an ongoing process that is worked on all of the time and we can never be free of lower thought in our personalities.

23. And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.

Most people are not willing to stick their neck out for God and go against traditions when there is much pressure to conform. Jesus was killed because he was a revolutionary and said everything that lives and breathes is God and there are no distinctions. So this verse is illustrating the critical point where we reach that point in the bondage of our mind that we have to be spiritually free more than anything else.

Exodus 3: 1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.

Moses kept the flock of Jethro = he is not watching his thoughts he is watching someone else.

Led the flock to the backside = spine with 7 chakras

Horeb = holy place on the mountain = elevated perspective/ consciousness

As a comparison we go here to:

Revelation 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

Throne = higher mind,

Within backside 7 seals = 7 chakras along the spine.

Book = containing the knowledge of kundalini.

This refers to the Priest of Midian and the Seven daughters.

Exodus 3: 2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

This is the 4th stage of FIRE where the kundalini is raised. All we need to do is dedicate ourselves to sitting silently in meditation to do this. It is not an intellectual exercise but must be practised through dedication and be the most important goal to us.

4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

Take off your shoes = our feet are the part of us that touches the earth and this statement is a representation of our earthly bondage with fear, guilt prejudices etc. The lord does not want any part of Moses that is devoted to man worldly self including the thoughts of the lower mind. By taking off his shoes Moses is cutting his contact with the lower carnal self that is ‘dirty’ compared to the purity of the spirit of the Lord.

This point is also made in:

John: 13: 5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.

6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.

Jesus says to Peter that he knows not what he is doing now but he will know. Christ will be cleansing away all that Peter has touched in the lower mind and this shall be burnt away in the fire of spirit in meditation. All his traditions, upbringing, religion, education will be turned upside down once he knows what spirit and his true identity is.

8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

If Peter does not cut the ties with his thoughts then he will have no place with Christ. We take no thought in meditation.

So the orthodox position of this important spiritual process is anchored in literalism and we can see the ceremony of the washing of the feet in the holy water in the picture below:

Priest of Midian and The 7 Daughters

However,  in the context of the above it does not touch the surface of what it was meant to convey i.e. man & his unity with God through breaking his attachment to the world and his thoughts and rising up into the fire of spirit which burns off the dross of our lower nature.
