Biblical Astrology of Libra

Biblical Astrology of Libra Introduction

In this article we look at interpreting the Biblical Astrology of Libra as part of a complete series looking into the twelve zodiac signs and how they are represented  in Biblical text.

In Hebrew this  constellation is called  Moznayim or “Balance” :

Biblical Astrology of Libra

Looking at the relevant stars more closely :

Biblical Astrology of Libra

Zuben el Genubi = “the balance/purchase/price is deficient.” It is also the root from which the Hebrew word “stolen” is derived. = lower consciousness

Zuben el Chamali=  “the price which covers”, a word whose root comes into Hebrew as meaning “raiment” or “cloth.” = higher consciousness

The first lesson of Libra is to weigh the balance between the higher consciousness or spiritual life (Zuben el Genubi)

and the path of the world or lower consciousness (Zuben el Chamali). Once the choices have been weighed up and the spiritual path chosen it is time to move on to the first decan of Libra:

(ii) Three Decans of Libra

The Three Decans of Libra are :

  1. Crux
  2. Lupus (the victim slain)
  3. Corona (crown)

Biblical Astrology of Libra

1. Crux The First Decan of Libra

Crux is the first sub-constellation of Libra:

Biblical Astrology of Libra

The price for our conflict between our higher and lower natures is fought on the Cross (Crux) where the crucifixion of the 5 senses takes place. This is what happens in meditation when we submit to our higher aspect and put down the thoughts and emotions.

2. Lupus The Second Decan of Libra

 Lupus = The Victim Slain

Lupus means ‘wolf’ and so the animal or lower nature within us needs to be slain to our higher consciousness.

Biblical Astrology of Libra

This is represented Biblically :

John 10 : 12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

sheep = higher thoughts as they can be controlled, tamed, taught. = higher  consciousness

wolf = wild, difficult to tame and yet instinctive and predictable = lower consciousness

leaveth the sheep = our higher thoughts leave us when the lower desires (wolf) come calling.

we run from the wolf or animal nature. The sheep are our thoughts and so this verse is saying that we run from that which overwhelms us. Are thoughts (sheep ) are scattered by the ferocity of our desires (wolf) and so we run from that divine stillness inside.

wolf catcheth them = the world and its pull overwhelms us.

In the above image we can see the  animal slain.

The sacrifices and burnt offerings in the Bible were not mean to be physical sacrifices of animals which we may interpret it being looking at the diagram of the Slain wolf In the verse below we get clarification of these ‘burnt offerings’ :

Psalm 51 : 16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

Isaiah 1 :  11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

Asedaton = the Arabic name for Lupus constellation and means ‘to be slain’.

When we look to who is capable of killing the lower nature within us consider :

John 1 : 43 The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.

Follow me = written in red letters in the King James Bible Online.

John 10 : 15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

Jesus sacrificing the lower desires (wolf) for the spirit (sheep)

18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Only he can walk the spiritual path, no one has the power over him to make these choices.

The implication = only we can do the same. We have the power to walk our own journey or not, no one else can make these decisions for us.

In conclusion we must take responsibility of slaying the wolf within by submitting to the Christ Consciousness in meditation.

3. Corona The Third Decan of Libra

Psalm 132 : 18 His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

enemies = thoughts/ the mind

So when we weigh the balance and take from the upper scale we slay the mind and our higher centres open (crown chakra :

(iii) Spiritual Journey from Virgo to Libra

Looking at this series on the zodiac and the bible as an ‘evolution of the soul’ we can summarize the journey so far :

Virgo

  1. Coma (Virgin Woman) = virgin consciousness in meditation free from bias of all thoughts residing in stillness. In virgin consciousness is born the seed Emmanuel which is our connection with the divine.

2. Certentauris ( The Despised) = This will be despised by religion and society by breaking with traditions.

3. Boötes (Sickle) = he who comes to harvest the seed planted by God in meditation.

Libra

4.  Crux (Cross) = the balance is weighed and spiritual path chosen

5. Lupus ( Victim Slain) = lower nature (wolf) is killed

6. Corona (Crown) = higher consciousness is opened ( 1000 Petalled Lotus ).

Judas Iscariot The Traitor

(i) Judas Iscariot The Traitor Introduction and Video

This article looks at the YouTube videos of Bill Donahues talk on Judas Iscariot The Traitor and emphasises the Judas aspect in each one of us as  playing an essential part in resurrecting the Christ Consciousness within. We have to have a Judas within us in order to be saved as we see when we unravel the Biblical symbolism. The zodiac sign Scorpio is also significant in this story.

An introductory video can be found on my YouTube Channel by clicking on the image below :

Judas Iscariot The Traitor

(ii) Biblical Confirmation of Judas as a Traitor

Judas in Webster’s Dictionary = TRAITOR = one who betrays under the guise of friendship.

From the following two verses we can confirm that the Bible confirms Judas as a traitor:

Luke 6 : 16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.

Matthew 10 : 4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

However, without Judas we cannot raise up from the bondage in our own mind.

The interesting thing was that he was given the most trustworthy position of all the disciples. He was the treasurer and controlled the money and could be depended on the most by Jesus.

Judas = Scorpio as he is the 8th character from the left in the Last Supper painted by Da Vinci and Scorpio rules the 8th house of  Natal Chart

leonardo-da-vinci-the-last-supper

Why Jesus Is Betrayed and Crucified at the Passover

Matthew 26 : 1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,

2 Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

Someone is not really betrayed when we know about it in advance and if we allow it to happen like Jesus did then it implies Jesus had a reason for allowing it to happen. The betrayer Judas then becomes part of Gods Will.

Why does this happen at the PASSOVER ? Because it is the Spring Equinox. The 14 th of Nissan in the  Old Testament. The Lamb (Aries) is consumed by the Fire (Sun). The Lamb Aries is sacrificed to the fire.

Jesus plays a dual role in this, being the Fire and the Lamb. He is sacrificed as the Lamb but it is the Spiritual Fire within that does this.

(iii) Scripture Interpretation of Judas Iscariot The Traitor

For this section we look at some verses from the book of John :

John 13: 21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

Verily = I’m telling you the truth

Jesus talks to the 12 and says one of the disciples will betray him.

They are asking who it is that will betray Jesus in this verse :

John 13 : 25 He then lying on Jesus’ breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?

John 13 : 26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

Jesus gives the sop to Judas

Sop = a piece of bread dipped in gravy, soup, or sauce.

John 13 : 27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

Satan = confusion (of the lower mind) entered Judas.

AFTER the sop Satan entered into him. So Judas had no idea of doing anything to Jesus until AFTER Jesus gave this the sop. So JESUS instigated Satan entering Judas.

John 13 : 28 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.

In other words the disciples did not understand what was happening when Jesus gave the sop to Judas or how this betrayal would come about and in what form. Why would Jesus actively encourage someone trusted to act against him ? So when reading the Gospels we must bear in mind that there was a huge gap in spiritual evolution between Christ and his disciples and so they can never truly reflect his teachings. In the next verse they think that Jesus gave Judas the money towards a feast or for the poor :

John 13 : 29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

the bag = the money

There is not one mention in the Bible about Judas trying to make a name for himself or being a selfish man.

Going back to an earlier verse :

John 13 : 26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

Judas Iscariot The Traitor

Why did Jesus not just point out Judas to the other disciples when they asked instead of dipping the sop ?

Sop = as we have defined is a piece of food dipped in a liquid or a conciliatory or propitiatory bribe or gift

conciliatory =  to win over, to agree

propitiatory  = to gain favour

So by giving Judas the sop Jesus was trying to win Judas over to do what he wanted done.

Bribe = something given to a person in a position of trust to influence his behaviour

Dipping the sop biblically speaking = to do a favour for someone.

Dipping the Sop Interpretation

So in this story we have a  drama unfolding between Jesus and Judas, and this whole drama takes place in our head when the Jesus part of us bribes the Judas part so that we can rise up spiritually.

Judas understood that he was being instructed by the master to do something and do it quickly.

Judas was entrusted by Jesus to save mankind from his own flesh

None of the other disciples were chosen

Peter = told lies, Jesus called him Satan

Thomas = the doubter

Judas = chosen because he was trustworthy and was not weak.

Judas believed what Christians believe that Jesus was going to set up a kingdom on earth.

Judas believed that Jesus was assigning him to betray Jesus to the religious/political  system so Jesus could exercise his power to overthrow it and would set up a physical kingdom on earth. However Jesus did not want to have a physical kingdom (Church, Religion ) but a spiritual one.

This idea of setting up a physical kingdom on earth presented itself to Jesus in an earlier chapter of Matthew :

Matthew 4 : 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

Judas Iscariot The Traitor

devil takes him up into an exceedingly  high mountain = his ego got the best of him

kingdoms of the world = what he could get for himself  (EGO)

Jesus now is talking about a spiritual kingdom not a physical one

The crux of the story relates to human nature and what is is within us (the Judas part) that betrays us so we give up the ways of the world and turn to spirit.

Matthew 27 : 5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

30 pieces of silver = 30 degrees in the constellation Scorpio (Zachariah). This will be explained in a further article.

Judas came back and took the 30 pieces of silver, threw it back and hung himself.  He was broken by the thought of having not performed his task well for Jesus.

Judas Iscariot The Traitor

He had no idea that he was the principal mover for universal salvation through Christ Consciousness.

The desire (ego ) nature that which is attached to a material life is not to be destroyed, it must destroy itself, that was the sacrifice of Judas to commit suicide. This must happen before the soul can move into eternal bliss.

Applied to us, we must dip the sap = betray me and I will die and we can both live eternally.

We take ourselves into a position of separation from the flesh, allowing the flesh to turn on you so that both are no longer acting in harmony and we die to the flesh so that the sacrifice can take place.

Biblical Astrology of Scorpio

Biblical Astrology of Scorpio Introduction

In this article we look at interpreting the Biblical Astrology of Scorpio as part of a complete series looking into the twelve zodiac signs and how they are represented in Biblical text. In tarot we have the death card which is represents the three levels of  Scorpio; the scorpion, the serpent and the eagle :

Biblical Astrology of Scorpio

The scorpion and the serpent are represented in this article as they are the lowest aspects of this sign which is what the biblical writings refer to in the story of Judas betraying Jesus.

Anteres = a bright star in the centre of Scorpio. Represents the heart of the Scorpion and where the wounding takes place. One of the characteristics of Scorpios is that they are easily wounded. It is a bright red star that glows. There are 3 decans in each zodiac sign each of 10 degrees and we discuss these below :

(ii) Three Decans of Scorpio

The three decans of Scorpio are :

Decan 1: Serpens = the serpent.

Decan 2: Ophiuchus = the serpent wrestling with the man.

Decan 3: Hercules = the Hero

They can all be seen in the image below :

Biblical Astrology of Scorpio

Decans 1 and 2:  Serpens and Ophiuchus Interpretation

Job 26

13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

God has garnished the heavens with the stars and there is reference here to the serpent of Scorpio.

14 Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?

how little a portion is heard of him = how many people understand Biblical Astrology

The serpent represents that part of us that pulls us down, our lower nature which symbolically wraps itself around us and pulls us to the ground so we do not descend into spirit.

Luke 10:

19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

we have the power in our meditation and spiritual practise to overcome our lower nature.

This is also seen in the Bhagavad Gita with Krishnas foot on the head of the serpent :

Biblical Astrology of Scorpio

This is referenced in Genesis where God punishes but the serpent and Eve. Speaking to the serpent :

Genesis 3 : 14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

Genesis 3 : 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

we can see in the astrology images above that both Biblical Astrology and Krishna stories are one and the same.

This theme about the serpent can be misinterpreted if taken literally. For instance if we look at the following verse :

Mark 16

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

This means that the Christ Consciousness in meditation will devour the lower mind which drags us down and chokes the life out of us like a serpent.

However some churches take things literally :

Biblical Astrology of Scorpio

Why does the Scorpion try to sting the heel of man as shown in the first image ?

The heel is the lowest part of man and represents the lowest nature of man. The struggle with the serpent is to stop the serpent from his goal of strangling the higher nature of man. In the death card above the scorpion and serpent are in the lowest aspect of the card, only the Eagle (higher aspect of Scorpio) is elevated.

In the constellation, the serpent is reaching for the crown, he is reaching up to take over your crown, our spirituality. I have cropped the original image so we can see that happening below with the serpent reaching for the Corona Borealis :

Biblical Astrology of Scorpio

Looking at the above diagram :

Unuk = the brightest star in the serpent. It means ENCOMPASSING, that is  your troubles come at you from all directions, we don’t know which way to turn. Fears, anxieties, negative thoughts encompass us.

Decan 3.  Hercules The Third Decan of Libra

The third decan of Scorpio is Hercules and in the sky is seen upside down but I have inverted the image as it is easier to study upright.

Biblical Astrology of Scorpio

In his Right hand is the club that signifies the power that comes from our right side or spiritual side and is the power of our spiritual practise.

Looking at the human skull the indent in the side of the head is the Temple where Jesus drove the money changers from.

CERBEBUS = In Hercules left hand and is a three-headed monster. The three heads stand for power , lust and desire and Hercules is about to kill these three qualities within us.

Review:

Conflict between the scorpion stinging the heel of the man who is struggling with the serpent.

He kills the 3 headed monster with the club in the right and so he can eat of the fruit of the left side. But the fruit is evil as it is from the left side. The nice looking fruit has been responsible for our downfall as it is the produce from the left side, or the material plane. It entices us in and yet we then lose our connection with the power of spirit.

Lion skin around Hercules body = He is wearing the skin because the spirit of the Lion is dead and he has conquered his animal nature.

1st Peter 5:

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

So in Scorpio we have the conflict of the serpent and the scorpion. Hercules destroys the serpent that poisons the fruit

Ras Al Gethi = star in the head of Hercules and means the ‘head of him who bruises’

Kornephoros = star in the right shoulder of the Hercules constellation. This is translated as ‘the branch’.

Jesus said he is the vine and we are the branch. In every constellation there is a star called the branch and this emphasises that the Kingdom of God is within us.

John 15 : 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

We must take on the role of Hercules and use the power of spirit in meditation (club) to overcome the desires and distractions of the lower nature (3 headed monster, fruit).

Sharing Love and Kindness on Earth

Sharing Love and Kindness on Earth

The following are words direct from the Spiritual Hierarchy on the topic of sharing love and kindness on earth as an important way of balancing the negativity that is so often portrayed in the media. All photographs are my own interpretation.

We, the Lords of Light want to talk to you about the beauty that is around you every day. On the news programmes there is often only negativity: violence, death, bombings, suffering. Focus on that and the world seems a dark, dangerous place. Yet there is much beauty all around. Look at Nature and see incredible beauty. Love is beauty.

sharing love and kindness on earth

We would like to remind you of millions of acts of kindness that happen quietly every day. Some are generous and affect several people deeply, but most are small. These are none-the-less meaningful to the recipients. It could be a smile, a helping hand, the price of a hot drink on a cold day or holding the door open till others arrive. They hardly seem worthy of a second thought. They cost you nothing, yet they enrich you in ways you cannot imagine. This is Love in action.

sharing love and kindness on earth

Acts of kindness to animals also do not go unnoticed. Whenever you can, please help animals that are kept in cruel conditions.

Love in your daily lives is incalculably precious. Only those for whom it is missing know the price of it: unbearable loneliness, despair, fear, tiredness, and a feeling of not belonging.

sharing love and kindness on earth

Love is given freely to you. Spread it freely. Send Love into the World every day. You don’t have to know who will receive it. It enriches the sender and the receiver. It makes the World a better place.

The Temple of Christ Within Us

The Temple of Christ Within Us Introduction

This article is based around a video broadcast on YouTube by Bill Donahue called Driving Out The Money Changers The Temple of Christ within us uses the scripture of Matthew supported by other books of the Bible to emphasise that Christ Consciousness is an internal spiritual awakening which has nothing to do with religion, Christianity or external doctrines.

Matthew 21 : 12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

Interpretation :

What is the Temple of God ? Lets look at :

1st Corinthians 3 : 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

So in Matthew 21 : 12 Jesus is not going into a church he is going within himself. This is an INTERNAL spiritual journey.

What is  being cast out in our temple within ? It is the lower consciousness, that which holds us back spiritually. We begin to have new desires for spiritual fulfilment and peace. The lower desires are a bottomless pit which is referenced in the Book of Revelations and refers to our never ending desires associated with the mind.

Ultimately desire comes from thought and so when we meditate on the inner light and sound it casts out thought.

Doves = symbolize purity. They fly which translates to the Higher Consciousness of Man. They are white = virgin mind or (empty mind) = no thought.

Temple of Christ Within

But in the above verse we need to consider that the doves are being SOLD.

Christ overturned the tables of Doves = spirituality can never be sold for gain. We cannot barter with spirit, it can only be received and we need a humility and openness for this. So praying for money, material gain, gain in society is like selling doves and Christ wants no part in this process.

Temple of Christ Within

In context Christ consciousness is coming in and disconnecting us from thought and society and all these attachments and desires.

We can now look at further scripture to glean more information about the temple which is US:

1st Kings 6 : 7And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.

Stone = natural made by nature/ God and is strong = HIGHER CONSCIOUSNESS.

Brick = man made from mud. Comes out of the lowest part of the earth and represents LOWER CONSCIOUSNESS. It is made by man. Everything of brick in the Bible falls apart e.g. the Tower of Babel. This is because it represents the lower nature of man who always lets him down.

These two are symbolic throughout the Bible. In the above verse the house (temple) was made of Stone.

However, this house was not built by any tools and so it was built in SILENCE and so we build our Temple of God within through the silence of mediation.

1st Kings 6  : 8 The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third.

Door to middle chamber on right side = right side or spiritual side of man, right side of the brain.

Winding stairs = winding motion of the KUNDALINI as it goes up the spine.

Temple of Christ Within

Into the third (Heaven) = stage of AIR (spirit, no thought, beyond the mind) see article on Greek Levels of Consciousness

Hebrews 10 : 19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

Holiest = middle chamber on the right side in HIGHER CONSCIOUSNESS which is reached by no thought through meditation.

Lucifer means ‘bright star’ and it has 5 points representing the 5 senses. He fell and became Satan. Jesus had the 5 wounds on the cross( hands, feet, side) and so his star is raised as he goes beyond the body.

This crucifixion happens in Golgotha which means skull which is explained fully in the articles on the Crucifixion.

As a child we have 5 bones that fuse into one and they are called the SACRUM.

SACRUM means the Holy Bone or Place which is where the Kundalini resides.

Temple of Christ Within

Above the sacrum is the SOLAR Plexus = place of the Sun which is surrounded by the 12 sympathetic nerves = 12 signs of the Zodiac the same way the 12 disciples surround Jesus.

Matthew 21 : 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

So back to the original verse Jesus went into the temple of God :

Den of thieves = temple(head) is full of lower consciousness which robs us of our spirituality. Our lower mind and emotions distract us and justify anything so that they rule our actions.

The analogy of thieves and robbers is also seen in the following verse :

John 10: 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

ALL  = church , government , religion,  everybody ! Any time anyone puts anything into our mind it is robbery because it is from the carnal mind and not subject to the Law of God as we seen in the verse below.

John 10 : 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Hebrews 3 : 6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

whos house are we = Christ’s house is OUR House, so the Temple of God is within us as it is within Christ.

Prayer = in its highest sense is a communion with God where we leave thoughts/the mind behind.

Prayer can never be done with the mind and we can see this from the next verse :

Romans 8 : 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

The following verse describes how Jesus wants to bring everybody to the Father or God regardless of their beliefs. He does not want religion which divides one against the other.

John 10 : 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

sheep = followers

not of this fold = Buddhists, people of other beliefs and faiths,

one fold = unity of all those who reach higher consciousness where individuality is dissolved

one shepherd = all see the one reality of divinity

Matthew 21 : 14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

Blind and lame = metaphorical description of those who are blind to the light of Christ or Higher Consciousness in the temple (third eye) within.

lame can walk = walk a different type of life connected to the spirit within.

Why Seek Light and Sound Initiation ?

Why Seek Light and Sound Initiation ?

In answer to the question, “Please could you talk to us about why a person should seek Inner Light and Sound Initiation and follow a Spiritual Path, and how does it help a person on death?” The following is a transmission by the Spiritual Hierarchy on this subject.

When someone gets Initiated, immediately it sets up a potential link with the Higher Planes. How much a person works with the Energies of Light and Sound, will develop that link, and it will get stronger and stronger.

As with anything else, you have to practice in order to become proficient and just by being initiated will not make you a star Meditator. You need to work on it every day, just like an athlete needs to practice to become a star athlete. You do need to follow the advice of your Mentor, as they know the pitfalls and so can guide you well.

Light and Sound Initiation

Obviously, if a person follows the Journey through to Second Initiation and Enlightenment, it is better for them because they would always wonder what Enlightenment was like. It would be like getting into a car, having a destination and not arriving. But not everyone who gets Initiated will get Enlightenment for a variety of reasons. The main one being that there has to be an inner desire for the Truth of their Existence to be revealed to them. There will be challenges along the way and people will fall by the wayside.

At this point, let Us stress how amazing it is, and how rare, to find a Path such as this of Light and Sound.

It has been said, “When the pupil is ready, the Master will appear.” So all of you who are waiting to be Initiated, it means you have been drawn to these teachings and are ready to receive them.

It is true that when you follow a Spiritual Path you learn how to “Die Daily”. This simply means that you let go into the Light and Sound and let those energies take you where they will.

Light and Sound Initiation

So on death, you are prepared to be “taken” and there is no struggle. You just let go as you have been practising. As the Realms above are so difficult to describe to you who are in a physical body, we cannot tell you more about an individual’s path through death, as the variations are endless. Suffice it to say that however much Meditation you have done and progress you have made, will reflect where you arrive on death.

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread Tutorial

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

This article describes a method for Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread which is close to my personal method, using a client question to outline the process I go through. You are encouraged to find what works best for you but hopefully this information can at least provide some guidelines and inspiration.

My new YouTube channel is : Thoth Tarot Videos. The Celtic Cross videos are yet to be remade.

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

Question from Louise : I’ve had a few setbacks recently, so can you shed some light on where my life is right now and where my future is heading ?

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

1. The First Card

This is where the energy first comes into the spread identifying what is happening to the Louise at the present time and the core of her situation  It is important to keep referring back to this central card which the spread revolves around.

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

10 of Swords (Ruin)  = Perhaps Louise is concealing how difficult things have been. There has been some trauma which has had a major impact on her life that she has yet to resolve mentally and emotionally and this is impacting on her life in the present moment.

2. The Last Card

The last card is where the energy of the spread concludes and so a quick overview of this card will alert the reader as to whether there is a harmonious or difficult conclusion to the spread and perhaps if any extra cards are needed or the deep card looked at for clarification.

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

3 of Swords (Sorrow) = The future may reflect that this period of her life might become quite entrenched leaving her with lots of sadness if it is not resolved. So as this is somewhat of a difficult card im conscious that ill have to draw more cards and pay attention to how she might avoid this happening by paying close attention to the rest of the spread.

3. Any particular Cards that Stand Out

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

The Empress : A card of love, support, being in harmony with her environment. This stood out for me as it is a very positive card in a key position of  an otherwise difficult spread and will be of importance moving forward with a positive outcome.

4. Overall Essence of the Spread

Each card has a particular vibrational energy or “essence” to it and once the cards have been laid out we can get an overall vibe of the spread as a whole. Are there any particular troublesome cards ? Are the cards mainly bright or dark in energy or mixed ?

Looking at Louise’s spread in total it seems quite a bright spread at first with the exception of the 5 of disks and the 3 of swords and so on colour alone we would expect quite a straightforward reading apart for the cards mentioned, however initial looks can be deceiving.

5.  Looking Closer at the Frequency & Distribution of Card Types

Once I have had a cursory look at the cards through the first three steps its time to look closer at the distribution and frequency of card types themselves when  Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread.

(a) Major Arcana

How many of the cards are from the Major Arcana ? Major Arcana represent significant life events and karmic ties and so these are big lessons. These cards may indicate lessons that cannot be avoided there are always better ways of handling difficult tasks.

Card 8 : The Empress = a positive card as mentioned above

(b) Minor Arcana

The Minor Arcana represents life events which are more connected to do with our everyday living, patterns and behaviour and are less significant that major arcana events. Usually the client is more in control of these situations. The numbers of the cards themselves are important as  aces, twos and threes represent beginnings of things, whereas higher numbers can  represent development, conflict , completion or over indulgence in the element.

Card 1 : 10 of Swords (Ruin)

Card 5 : 5 of Disks (Worry)

Card 10 : 3 of Swords (Sorry)

All of these point to difficult life circumstances.

(c) Court Cards

These are complex as they can either represent actual people or facets of the querents personality.

The spread has 4 court cards which is a high percentage for a spread (40%) and so this makes the spread a more difficult one to interpret. Perhaps there are many people influencing the querents life at the present time? We have :

Card 3 : Prince of Cups

Card 4 : Princess of Wands

Card 7 : Prince of Wands

Card 9 : Princess of Cups

In summary :

Only 1 major arcana card, the Empress which is a very supporting card to counter the difficult minor arcana.

6. Card Relationships within the Celtic Cross

(i) Cards 1 and 2 (Present Situation and Restricting or Supporting factors)

Card 1: Present Situation = represents what is happening to the Louise at the present time and the core of what the situation revolves around. This is our point of  most power as it is happening NOW so important that we relate other cards back to this.

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

Major life event in which she has suffered trauma and there has been a very difficult time in her life. It could mean the loss of a job or relationship but the swords represents thoughts and so she might have given in to negative thought patterns or not acted or given her best and so there have been harmful consequences. What we think today we create tomorrow so this card focusses back on the clients self-image, confidence and attitude.

Card 2: Conflicting Factors = represents the immediate challenge or problem facing the Louise. This is the one thing that, if resolved, would make the situation much easier.

Look at how they relate. Does card 2 help or hinder card 1 ?

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

Crossing this card confirms that Louise is perhaps struggling to open up to new opportunities that come her way. The card is reminding her that there are still many things to work towards that will bring its own reward but at the moment she is stopping herself from making the most of life by her overall attitude.

(ii) Vertical Row (Cards 5 , 1, 3)

Card 5: Conscious Goals/Aspirations = reflects what  the querent hopes to achieve with respect to the future. It is what the Louise  is working towards consciously as she attempts to resolve the issue. This is where she is consciously directing her energy.

Card 1: Present Situation = represents what is happening to the querent at the present time and the core of what the situation revolves around. This is her point of most power as it is happening NOW.

Card 3 : Unconscious Patterns/Influences = represents those thoughts or feelings that she may not be aware of that are influencing the present situation. This card may bring a surprise message to the querent, particularly if they are not particularly intuitive. Things that are happening behind the scenes. Can also represent unconscious wants and desires.

  • How are  the conscious (card 5) and subconscious (card 3) motivators are affecting the present situation.

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

Card 5 : 8 of Wands (Swiftness) = indicates that she wishes to blow away the cobwebs and create something new and successful in her life. She needs to create something worthwhile. Spiritually this is like an awakening to break out of old patterns and ways of thinking for a new perspective. The energy of this card is very positive for Louise.

described above

Card 3 : Prince of Cups =  represents the client as it is in the subconscious motivator position. The Prince of Cups is all about sensitivity and emotional rapport but often hides this and can also be quite volatile underneath. Also a tendency to be self obsessed.  Louise can sometimes get wrapped up her  own world and not share enough of herself emotionally. It hints at the client needing to be more open and then her life will prosper more (Gain 9 of Disks). Louise has a lot to share but self obsession and a tendency to hide her emotions hinders this and yet  she has all the skills for great empathy with others.

In summary, the 8 of Wands is a positive energy that will help break Louise out of the pain from the 10 of swords and the difficulties of the Prince of Cups.

(iii) Horizontal Row (Cards 4 ,1 ,6)

Card 4: The Past = events from the querents past that are influencing the current situation.

Card 6: The Future = represents what is likely to occur within the next few weeks or even months. This is not the final outcome, simply the next step on her journey. The future is changeable even with the major arcana as we can change our attitude to the situation.

  • How the past and present are affecting the future ?

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

Card 4 (the recent past) : Princess of Wands = Indicates a head on approach to life, confronting and overcoming fears. Having a full immersion in life sometimes without considering all the consequences of her actions which have at times bordered on recklessness.

Card 6 (the immediate future) :5 of Disks (Worry)  = It is important to see how much influence the client can have over the future as outcomes with the minor arcana are more easily altered than with major cards.

The worry card leads to anxiety over the future. This card in position 6 could well be related to her first card and its after effects. As a difficult card we now have an opportunity to see ahead what will result if she stays on her present course and so she must change the energies that are causing her stress at present. With Mercury bogged down in heavy Taurus in this card there is a problem of communication (with others or with herself) to accomplish the things she wants. This communication issue also links in to what we said when discussing cards 1 ,2 and 3

In summary:

Louise’s usual zest for life and fearlessness (Princess of Wands) has been lost due to traumatic events which have left her with anxiety about the future(Worry).

(iv) Cards 5 and 6 (Hopes, Goals and Near future)

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

  • How is the near future related to our hopes, aspirations and goals ?

We have anxieties about the future and we will have to overcome doubts and negativity about ourselves in order to succeed.

(v) Cards 3 ,4 and 5 (Past, Present, Future)

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

  • How the past and subconscious feelings have shaped our current goals

Cards 4 (past ) and how it relates to the present situation.

Do cards 3 and 5 support or conflict each other, our subconscious and conscious motivators respectively ?

(vi) Cards 7 and 8 ( Our Internal and External Worlds)

Card 7:  Your Approach = how you see yourself in the current situation. Need to assess this as it has a bearing on the situation in hand.

Card 8: External influences=  This card highlights the people, energies or events which may affect the outcome of the question. The external energies surrounding you right now

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

Card 7:  Your Approach = how you see yourself in the current situation. Need to assess this as it has a bearing on the situation in hand.

The Prince of Wands is a very encouraging card and this brings to the surface your true colours which are positive, energetic and outgoing with a good moral balance. It represents someone with a warm disposition and sense of humour. This is related to the Princess of Wands only he has more stability. Looking at these cards together they seem to indicate that in the past (Princess of Wands) we have been a bit too reckless and strayed from our usual balance.

Card 8: External influences=  This card highlights the people, energies or events which may affect the outcome of the question. The external energies surrounding you right now.

The Empress was the standout card for me in an otherwise difficult spread. She is to do with fertility, nurturing, love and nourishing. She is very much in tune with her surroundings and so is in harmony with that which is around her. She also expresses unconditional love.

These two cards put together provide  strong resources for the client to tap into during these difficult times. They show that fundamental the client has lots of energy and creativity (Prince of Wands) but at this time it has been lost a little bit and so they must make sure whats happening around them in their life is supporting and nourishing their needs (Empress). So the advice is to lose any people or situations that are not serving your highest good so that you can rediscover yourself.

(vii) Cards 5 and 10 (Hopes, Goals and Final Outcome)

Card 10: Projected Outcome = representative of where the situation is headed and assumes the outcome is based on the querent continuing their current course of action. If this card is not a desirable outcome, it is within the free will of the querent to make the necessary changes to their situation and further card can also be drawn to clarify how to resolve any difficult endings to the spread.

  • Near future and distant future comparison

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

A desire to create new things and move forward is again thwarted in the final outcome. Both of these cards are in the suit of swords which implies that our thoughts are not productive enough of the time for the 8 of wands to work out its energy in a positive way.

An extra card was drawn to clarify the outcome :

4 of swords : Truce

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

Not so much a resolution of internal conflict but coming to an understanding with yourself that you will not actively hold yourself back. We see that there is chaos in the background of this card which is shut out by the protection of the cross of swords. This card implies rest and recuperation from a difficult time so we can make stock of what has happened to us. It’s like taking a rain check from the events of our life so far . It is also a time for healing rifts either in family , friendships or relationships.

6. Guidance and Warning

Card 9: Guidance or warning = factors which may need special attention from the client when assessing future actions. In a way this is telling us something that we will need to know about the future.

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

The Princess of Cups is a very gentle, intuitive person, someone who is romantic and likes to be in harmony in their world. However she has a certain fragility when things get stressful. In position 9  she indicates a need for the client to follow her intuition more, listening to her inner voice and be open to love from others or a relationship. There are lots of conflicts in the clients thoughts (swords) which can sabotage things so this is a reminder to be in touch with feelings/emotions/the inner voice and also LOVE !

7. The Deep Card

The Deep card is the card at the bottom of the deck after dealing the cards off the top to make the celtic cross spread. It is those issues which are far reaching into the clients past which may help to understand the clients position in the present. I usually look at this if I feel the spread needs some further clarification. The card at the bottom of the deck for Louise was the Prince of Swords.

Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

Prince of Swords = again conflict here as the Prince of Swords does not always put his energies into the most productive things. A warning for the client to use her resources wisely and have more thinking time for the consequences of  her actions. He can also be someone emotionally cold and difficult to get to know, although highly, intelligent with a very active mind. In the deep card position this supports the fact that Louise is very much wrapped up in her own thoughts and perhaps need to be more in contact with the energies of the Empress and Princess of Cups. So for me it clarifies what the main spread is trying to say.

Take a step back now from spread and look for any repeating patterns , themes , elements and  astrological influences.

8. The Elements within the Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

If an element is represented by only one card, this can be significant to the whole reading as it could represent factors that are not properly integrated into the situation for the querent, quite like the way astrology works with singular planets.

Details about the elements :

Fire  = represents where the querent is putting their energy.

Water = feelings, emotions & subconscious things, relationships , love.

Air  = the mind and separation . Other characteristics associated with this element are conflict, anxiety, constructive focus, mediation and communication

Earth =  material things, work practises , practical outcomes. Practical sometimes to a fault, earth can be stubborn and dull, but also highly motivated, reliable, and supporting. Associated with grounding , work and economics.

Interpretation :

Fire = 3 cards = Prince and Princess of Wands , 8 of Wands = Positive outgoing energy, creative, friendly, likes to achieve.

Water = 2 cards = Prince and Princess of Wands = can hide real feelings stopping full potential to Love

Air = 3 cards = 10 of Swords, 3 and 4 of Swords = Difficult, troublesome thoughts & coming to terms with them

Earth = 2 cards 5 and 9 of Disks = money,financial and lifestyle worries.

9. Astrological Relationships within the Celtic Cross Spread

Astrological relationships are important when Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spreadand they apply to the Rider Waite Deck in the same way as they do the Thoth Deck.

Ruin = Sun in Gemini

Gain = Venus in Virgo

Swiftness  = Mercury in Sagittarius

Worry = Mercury in Taurus

Sorrow = Saturn in Libra

Truce = Jupiter in Libra

Empress = Venus

Patterns = only Mercury and Libra are repeated.

Mercury = the need to be clear about communication

Libra = finding balance in life.

Each of these cards can be studied astrologically  in detail but this information is available on this website.

10. Summary of the Celtic Cross Spread for Louise

This final section will summarize Interpreting A Celtic Cross Tarot Spread for Louise :

  • Her usual energy, positivity and outgoing nature(Prince of Wands) has suffered a setback (possibly Princess of Wands) which has had a big effect on her life (Ruin) and led to possible money worries or practical problems (Gain crossing)
  • Her negative thought patterns (Ruin ,Worry), lack of communication and tendency to not express her feelings  bring further difficulties and a tendency to become self-absorbed (Prince of Cups).
  • Louise wants to move forward in the future with new projects and regain her enthusiasm for life (Swiftness).
  • However there is a possibility of future anxiety (Worry) and so she must concentrate on not giving power to negative thoughts and feelings and trust in the process of life again and may need to take time out to process things (Truce) to prevent the problem becoming long term (Sorrow).
  • It’s important for Louise to feel loved, supported and nurtured (Empress) throughout this time from those around her so she can move on to better things and use her creativity constructively in the future(8 of Wands).
  • Finally she must learn to be more in touch with her softer more romantic side, protect her inner fragility (Princess of Wands) and not get too caught up in negative thoughts (Prince of Swords, Ruin, Sorrow).

Planetary Effects of Light and Sound Initiations

Planetary Effects of Light and Sound Initiations

The following statement is direct from the Spiritual Hierarchy and elaborates on the planetary effects of Light and Sound Initiations as well as advice for those seeking initiation.

Planetary Effects of Light and Sound Initiations

It is all to do with Love. We need to get more Love on the Planet Earth. There is too much hatred and warring as we have said; but if there is more Love then the hatred will die away.

We are wanting the people who are Initiated to gather together at prearranged times and send Love Energy out into the World. After this Grace period there will be more people, so you must make sure that this happens.

As regards the Planet itself – yes, it is sick, because of what Man has done with the animals, forests, vegetation and himself. How can the Earth cope with such willful destruction? It has to be redressed.

With the thousands of people who will be Initiated, we hope they will be active by being vocal in their horror at such deeds. Then gradually the people doing these things will be stopped, or realize this is not the way to carry on. With the power of initiation behind them, people will be able to make a difference collectively.

We are watching all the work that is being done by people to prepare themselves for Initiation, which is commendable.

This is the beginning of a massive wave of Energy across the Planet which has not been seen for a long time. We see you as Energy forms soon to be lit up, and to use your Light to illuminate the World.

For Those Seeking Initiation

This is a message direct from the Spiritual Hierarchy for all who seek Initiation, or further States to progress along the Path to Enlightenment.

Planetary Effects of Light and Sound Initiations

We here can see much preparation going on and it heartens us because it means that the Energy sent will be used well, and with the commitment it deserves.

You, as people seeking Initiation can be assured that on every step of the Journey you will be cared for, helped and Loved by Us.

It is a Journey to find out about the big questions you may have been looking for all your life. For instance, ‘Why are we here?”
Perhaps you will have sought the answers in spiritual books and been disappointed.

On this Journey of Light and Sound you will find out the answers for yourself. There will be no need for clarification as you will know in your heart that the answers are True; it will all make sense to you.

You may discover that you are thinking in a different way, the old ideas and ways of being, diet, etc. will change. This is all natural process of “letting go” and having the potential to become the best that you can be whilst in a physical form. To reach the highest Spiritual State of Enlightenment – which, in turn will help to raise awareness in your fellow Man.
