This is intended as a summary of the spiritual process of The Fools Journey Through the Thoth Major Arcana, although it applies to most tarot decks of traditional format.
First Major Arcana Sequence : Atu I to VII

Atu 0 : Fool = Openness to your Quest for Enlightenment. Jumping into the unknown for its attainment.
Atu I : Magus = Defining the skills you will need on your spiritual path.
Atu II Priestess = Connecting with your Inner Teacher, developing intuition.
Atu III Empress = Exploring Love in all its reflections/the cycles of life and their connection to the Divine.
Atu IV Emperor = Taking responsibility for and organising your life based around your spiritual purpose.
Atu V Hierophant = Finding a Spiritual Master, studying spiritual/religious scriptures/ attending spiritual groups.
Atu VI Lovers = Pain of separation from your Spiritual Source.
Atu VII Chariot = Learning the new drivers of your Spiritual Life.
Second Major Arcana Sequence : Atu VIII to IX
Unlocking the Secrets :
Atu VIII Adjustment = Actions have consequences, learning to keep all aspects of your life in balance.
Atu IX Hermit = Encountering the Inner Light which shines through the darkness. Exploring solitude.
Atu X Fortune = Staying centered and in stillness as the Wheel of your Life revolves.
Atu XI Lust = Strengthening your passion for your highest goal.
Atu XII Hanged Man = The need to make a sacrifice for your greater vision and purpose.
Atu XIII Death = Transformation in your darkest hour.
Atu IX Art = Integration through your trials and temptations to become a stronger more balanced person.
Third Major Arcana Sequence : Atu XV to XXI
Unlocking the Secrets :
Atu XV Devil = Seeing how the pull of the mind, emotions and the world still chain us to matter.
Atu XVI Tower = Destruction of those outmoded structures in your life you have clung to forcing change for the better.
Atu XVII Star = The Inner Star of Spirit shines bright bringing hope and inspiration after hardships.
Atu XVIII Moon = Working through/letting go of things that subconsciously have been a distraction to us on our path.
Atu XIX Sun = Coming to Spiritual Realisation the sun shines as the light of spirit breaks through
Atu XX Aeon = Life is forever changed and a new chapter begins reflecting your spiritual realisations.
Atu XXI Universe = Enlightenment and the chance to teach your new-found Spiritual State of Consciousness.
