(i) Esoteric Easter Part 2 Introduction
Esoteric Easter Part 2 continues on from Esoteric Easter (Part 1) and looks at the deeper meaning behind this time of the year. There is nothing wrong with traditional Easter celebrations, but we have missed the original message of it.
The real meaning was carved into the sky by divine intelligence millions of years ago in the constellations and the path of the sun. The Bible was written in Greece and is loaded with Greek mythology. We have missed what Easter means universally and personally.
The churches believe that God allowed Jesus to die on the cross in such a violent way is a miss interpretation of Greek mythology.
(ii) Esoteric Easter Part 2 Scripture Interpretation
Genesis 1: 14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
Signs are found in the sky which also controls our seasons and hence way of life.
This is a journey of involution and evolution and begins in Virgo in the month of September.
Isaiah 7: 14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Virgo = the virgin.
In November & December the sun enters the constellation known as the Southern Cross or Crux. It occurs on Dec 21st which is known as the shortest day of the year.
In the Bible when Christ was on the cross there was in eclipse and there was darkness all over the earth. On Dec 21st there is darkness as it is the shortest day of the year as the sun has gone through the Crux.
So we have a cosmic crucifixion of the sun on the Southern Cross, and we have a symbolic crucifixion with Jesus on the cross, which is a spiritual process that occurs within each and every one of us if we let it.
Jesus was in the tomb for 3 days. The winter solstice lasts 3 days, Dec 22nd, 23rd & 24th which reflects the sun is in the bowls of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights.
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
We have a correlation here between the stars and the stories of the Bible. There is a significance as we can see of the period of 3 days which links them all cosmically to the Southern Cross.
Luke 2: 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
Born in a manger = between the horse and the goat, the signs of Sagittarius and Capricorn.
Luke 3 :23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,
30 years after his birth Jesus entered the water with John the Baptist 30 days after Dec 25th the sun enters the sign of the water man in Aquarius.
Matthew 3 : 13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
Jesus selected his disciples from the fisherman = sun moves into the sign Pisces.
Matthew 4: 19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
April & May
Jesus becomes the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. Here the sun enters the sign Aries. Spring and new life arrive taking away the cold of the winter. We have now entered the part of our life when we PASSOVER from winter to spring.
Matthew 26: 64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Jesus rises to sit at the right hand of the father & in the Northern Hemisphere the sun goes to the eastern sky or right side, and summer comes to all of the earth
Right Hand = Right spiritual side,
Son(Personal) = Sun (Universal)
John 1: 29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Revelation 5: 5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
July to August
the sun concludes it journey in the sign of Leo
Thus, the stories of the crucified saviors that have come both before and after Christ have had the same story attributed to them as they are following the succession of the sun in the constellations.
(iii) Kundalini & the 7 chakras
June 21st = longest day of the year = 1. Crown Chakra,
July = 2. Third Eye Chakra,
August = 3. Throat Chakra,
September = 4. Heart Chakra,
October = 5. Solar Plexus Chakra,
November = 6. Sacral Chakra,
December = 7.Root Chakra
Dec 21st = shortest day of the year, the sun energy comes down to the solar plexus and it is winter. Now the sun must rise to a new cycle upwards
Dec = 1.Root Chakra,
Jan = 2.Sacral Chakra,
Feb = 3.Solar Plexus Chakra,
Apr = 5.Throat Chakra,
May = 6.Third Eye Chakra and then we are back at the top of the cycle in June and the =
June =7. Crown Chakra is touched.
Religions have to be believed and subsequently defended. God does not have to be believed, he just has to be experienced.
By looking at the skies we don’t need to be a theologian to know that in summer the days are long and hot and we are uplifted, and in December the days are cold and short and dreary. Thus, our nature is connected to the seasons & in many ways our senses have been put to sleep by religion.
Using the crucifix:
horizontal arm = Sept to March where the days are roughly equal in length
vertical arm= dec 21st at top where days are short, to June 21st at bottom where days are long.
Ezekiel 8: 14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD’S house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
The women used to put ashes on their head as a sign of humility & they used to go into mourning for 40 days because Tammuz was the Sun-God who had given his life. A photo of Tammuz is shown on the left.
Easter is connected to the planet Venus. The Sun and Venus were seen to rise together from the Eastern sea. The planet Venus was thus the East Star, or “Easter,” of the sunrise.
Ishtars daughter was called Sin and is the Moon Goddess, the moon represents the emotions. Sin(emotional desire) comes down to the solar plexus and makes the sun rise(Tammuz), or kundalini, and move up through the chakras of the spine. For this to happen we must have the desire(Sin) for this. Cosmically, Tammuz is rising up through the underworld. This allows the sun to rise and sit at the right hand side of the father and summer to come.
As Ishtar started her decent into the underworld, she received permission of the guardians of the underworld to enter through the 7 gates.
Seven gates = 7 chakras
So Easter comes down and goes through the gates of Hell:
(iv) Esoteric Easter Part 2 Mythology & Meditation
Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Build my Church = walk his spiritual path
The story of Ishtar & the 7 gates can be found in: Ancient Near Eastern Texts Relating to the Old Testament edited by James B. Pritchard (1st ed. 1950, 2nd ed.1955, 3rd ed. 1969
In the explanation below we will look at the gates mentioned in Matthew 16.18
1st Gate = she loses her crown. When applied to us = giving up wisdom and intelligence and being one with God as a baby
2nd Gate = looses her earrings = we are not listening to the instructions given to us from God
3rd Gate = looses her necklace. The neck is a bridge the spiritual with the physical. So now we have lost the connection from the lower to the higher and we are on our way down.
4th Gate = looses ornaments from her breasts and her milk or ‘truth’ no longer flows.
5th Gate = looses the girdle from her waste.
6th Gate = looses the bracelets from her ankles
7th Gate = looses her robe and she is now NAKED.
So everything she had is gone & we can also relate this to the winter solstice when the trees are naked and the sun has gone and winter has arrived.
In order to get Tammuz, Ishtar had to give up everything she had passing through the 7 gates. When we go into meditation we have to undergo a similar process and turn off that which we are attached to in order to find God.
So when Ishtar is at the bottom of the cycle, she picks up all sorts of attachments, e.g. emotional problems, diseases and the things we as humans suffer from.
We must take heart from the fact that when the sun fades in winter it rises again, and so it will be with us. As we have lost our thread to our spiritual path, we will find it again and work through that which is holding us back like Ishtar and move back up to our source with Tammuz.
Taking the analogy to within us, we will not be set free until the female spirit(Ishtar) comes to set our sun & spiritual energy(Tammuz) free to ascend.
At the point in the sky when the sun touches the lamb of Aries, the resurrection is celebrated with Tammuz presented as a colored egg to the universe, to bring forth new life. This is where the symbolism behind the eater egg was born.
Jesus spends 3 days & 3 nights in the tomb after the crucifixion ( taking the 5 wounds of the senses) and so it is after going inside through our meditation the Christ will rise within us once again and our life’s purpose has the potential to be filled.
Once again there is much to ponder over with respect to Easter and Passover and these two articles provide a small introduction to what the true message is behind it, both reflected in the sky and within ourselves.
